New Century Bank is a locally-owned, privately held company whose inception in 1997 started with the Kimberton, Pennsylvania Branch. Now headquartered in downtown Phoenixville, New Century Bank is governed by a board of directors and is responsible to a group of investors.

New Century Bank is focused on serving Southeastern Pennsylvania markets with a growth strategy that includes strategically placed branches throughout the market area and continually expanding the portfolio of loans to small businesses and consumers. The Bank is chartered as a commercial bank under Pennsylvania law, a member of the Federal Reserve System and is insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). It commenced operations in 1997 in Phoenixville, Chester County, PA.

FDIC Transaction Account Guarantee Program

New Century Bank is participating in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program, through December 31, 2013, all noninterest-bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules. Minimum FDIC coverage of $250,000.00.
